Tosser Magazine

0tosser-cover1 Issue 1

For the first issue of Tosser I wrote a trend report, very heavily inspired by Balmain. I also got the change to sit down with Karmaloop CEO and founder Greg Selkoe to chat about his experience and how he got to where he is. I caught up with Steed Lord, the awesome LA based Icelandic band right after their European tour, I spent the afternoon with Anya Ayoung Chee, the winner of Project Runway to see what she’s been up to since the show and it’s pretty amazing! And I met Dorian Electra here at the Futures of Entertainment Conference at MIT and chatted with her once she got back to Chicago about the awesome brand she’s developing and her music career. Also in the issue – an interview with Bringing Home the Birkin author Michael Tonello and the owner of the chicest Boston showroom Christina Pierce. Plus plenty of shopping tips, beauty advice and editorials.

 Issue 2

Once again, my trend report was a bit inspired by Balmain. I chatted with Joe Farese, the women’s shoe buyer at Karmaloop about how he started out and his recent collaborations with Jeffrey Campbell. I was able to Skype with the London based model and it-girl Nyane Leboja on modeling, fashion design, and her budding music career. I chatted with Milica Obradovic, also known as Moiminnie, the blogging sensation with a clothing line. And, of course, spent the afternoon in New York with the senior VP of retail at Valentino June Haynes about having the confidence to go after your dreams and how faith played a huge role in that for her. Also in the issue – interviews with local musicians and the awesome designers, bloggers, artists, and musicians to keep on your radar.

A couple samples of websites & Clothing design. I manufactured the clothing line, selling directly to customers world wide through my online store.  I also fulfilled wholesale orders to select boutiques in the US, Europe and Australia.
